Therefore it is necessary that everyone should have respect for each other.

Due to this, the country is weakening directly and indirectly because in Indian society there is division of labor on the basis of caste system which is adverse for the health of democracy. Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, also started a movement against the caste system. He took a pledge for untouchability and tried to remove it throughout his life. Jyotiba Phule and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia also apprised the society of the horrors of casteism, how it weakens the country and divides the society. Comparing everyone’s views, it comes to the conclusion that casteism is a sweet poison for any society and nation.

Question 2. According to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, what is necessary for the establishment of true democracy?

Answer – Throwing light on the characteristics of true democracy, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar writes that- “Democracy is a method of collective lifestyle and the name of exchange of shared experiences of society. In this, it is necessary that there should be a sense of reverence and respect for one’s companions. “It is from the feeling of respect and respect for each other that harmony comes in the society and the nation, due to which democracy becomes strong. No nation can become strong and prosperous unless there is a sense of harmony and brotherhood among its citizens. All this is possible only when casteism will be eradicated from the root.
