Invasion Episode 3: Ending Explained What Does Mitsuki Think? Why is Monty putting out the fire?

Invasion is available on Apple TV+! The episode begins with Trev waking up, alone, covered in sand and badly injured. After finding his team’s vehicle, he tries to call in reinforcements and track his team’s locators, but no matter what. All he can do is bandage a wound that looks filthy before heading out into the wilderness to seek help.

After traveling on foot for a few hours, Trev is severely dehydrated and falls to the ground, where he hallucinates his wife running away before losing consciousness. Some time later, the soldier wakes up and finds a man offering him water. He views the Good Samaritan as potentially hostile, yet accepts liquid salvation.

Invasion Episode 3 End Declared

After days of depression and alcoholism, Mitsuki decides to go back to work to find answers. However, when she arrives at JASA, she finds that an independent commission has seized power. She takes her supervisor’s ID card and mission details, then locks herself with her colleague Kaito Kawaguchi in the communications room to find the latest video recording of his girlfriend.

While her boss and the guard demand that she unlock the door, Mitsuki races against the clock to find the video before going inside themselves. When she does, Mitsuki and Kaito realize that something big must have hit the shuttle to do such damage. They hear the last word from one of the crew members after the collision.

It’s “Wajo”, which means “Japanese Castle” in Japanese terminology. Whatever object the shuttle hit, it must have looked the size of a castle to the crew. This means it was destroyed after colliding with an alien ship. In this hole, separated from the rest of the world, the little tyrant sleeping in Monty seems to find the purpose of his life. He extinguishes the fire that Casper has painstakingly built before to establish his authority over the group. He wants all positive development for the students to go through him and not through others, certainly not Casper.

The latter seems to have found its ideal place in the world by accident. In addition, he probably doesn’t feel like leaving the hole anymore, because this isolation from the rest of the world gives him certain powers that exposure to society will deprive him of.
