One of the best travel comedy shows on Netflix, Jack Whitehall: Journey With My Father, is set to return for a fifth season later in 2021, according to a new report from Comedy.co.uk.

The report states that Jack Whitehall and his father will be back for their fifth world outing, but insists it will be slightly different from previous seasons where they will likely stay locally due to the travel restrictions of the global pandemic.

Scotland, Wales and England will be the focus of this series of trips, with the couple visiting picturesque British locations including Devon, London and the Lake District. Filming is scheduled to begin in April 2021.

For those unfamiliar with the show, it follows a British comedian and his mud-stuck dad traveling the world with learning and laughs to do along the way. The first season kicked off in 2017 with new seasons released every year since.

So far, the couple have traveled to Southeast Asia, Europe, the United States and Australia.

Netflix has confirmed the report and said that season 5 of Jack Whitehall’s Travels with My Father will be released on Netflix worldwide later in 2021.

In the meantime, you can find a lot more of Jack Whitehall on Netflix. His most prolific show Bad Education and his next film are unfortunately no longer available on Netflix (starting in December 2020 in the United States and May 2020 in the United Kingdom) but you can find it in its various stand-ups. This includes the 2017 special Jack Whitehall: in general, Jack Whitehall: Christmas With My Father as of December 2019 and most recent Just kidding from July 2020.
