Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology Hyderabad (JNTUH) exams for undergraduate (postgraduate) and postgraduate (PG) semesters have been postponed after being reviewed by the Telangana government.

Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology Hyderabad (JNTUH) exams for undergraduate (postgraduate) and postgraduate (PG) semesters have been postponed after being reviewed by the Telangana government.

JNTUH had notified the final year UG and PG exams from June 20. However, the student community as a whole has been asked to postpone exams. The JNTUH issued a new notification on Friday and ordered colleges not to conduct any reviews.

“The final year semester exams as well as the final year students of the UG and PG courses of all JNTUH autonomous, constituent and affiliate colleges will be decided by the state government. Until then, no institute should conduct a review, including a mid-term review.

However, the Telangana government has expressed a desire to offer Bachelor degree courses like BA, BCom and BSc from first to third year for final year students. Officials say a review meeting is scheduled for early next week to discuss the matter.
