2021 continues to be an incredibly rich year for K-Drama fans as Netflix just announced its romantic feature film Bittersweet arrives on Netflix in June 2021. We’ll be keeping track of everything you want to know about Bittersweet including the plot, cast, trailers, and most importantly, the Netflix release date.
Bittersweet is an upcoming Netflix Original South Korean romantic drama film directed by Lee Kye Byuk.
Upon release, Bittersweet will be the fourth South Korean original film to arrive on Netflix in 2021. Netflix has already invested hundreds of millions of dollars in content from South Korea and won’t be stopping anytime soon.
When is the Bittersweet Netflix release date?
This has been confirmed by Netflix, in the film’s press release, this Bittersweet is coming to Netflix on Friday June 4, 2021.
The original will be Netflix exclusive overall and available to stream in South Korea.

What is the plot of Bittersweet?
Jang Hyuk wants the best of his romantic and professional life, but is deeply affected by the relationships of two women in his life. Da-Eun, Jang Hyuk’s girlfriend, is a hardworking nurse who is increasingly frustrated with her work and professional life, and Bo-Yeong, the woman with whom Jang Hyuk is forced to collaborate and compete for a permanent position at their company.
