Onesumore: ‘Kingdom’ Seasons 1-3 Leaving Netflix in May 2021
Frank Grillo and Nick Jonas’ MMA drama series created by Bryon Balasco will soon be leaving Netflix in the United States. The three seasons of Kingdom are scheduled to leave Netflix US on May 1, 2021.
The series was only available in the United States last July, which means it won’t even have stayed on Netflix for a year when it leaves. This is a trend that we have seen with many licensed titles on Netflix for a very short period of time.
If you haven’t dived yet, here’s a quick explanation of why you should give Kingdom seasons 1-3 a turn.
The family drama is about a family deeply connected to the mixed martial arts scene in California with Alvey (played by Grillo) running a gym called Navy St. The series follows its operation of said gymnasium and the family drama that takes place behind it. -plan.
Some have predicted that his newfound popularity on Netflix could have provided a previous for a fourth season for which most of the cast indicated they were on board.
Where will Kingdom stream after leaving Netflix?
Given that the show was an AT&T Original on the now defunct public network, we would expect it to fall under WarnerMedias’ mission and therefore move to HBO Max. We have no confirmation of this and will update if we learn more.
Will Netflix lose Kindom internationally?
Although we can probably expect Kingdom to eventually leave Netflix internationally, we don’t expect (as this was not announced) to leave at the same time as the United States. Distribution of the show outside of the United States is handled by Endemol Shine International.
The spectacle resides entirely in the majority of Netflix regions including UK, Australia and Canada.
Kingdom Often confused with the Korean zombie series of the same name that will remain on Netflix and, in fact, is expected to receive a movie within the year, likely instead of Season 3.
