March and April are a very busy time for Netflix UK, mainly because we are seeing the massive removal of content from the UK library. Unfortunately for the UK, some of your favorite movies from the DreamWorks Film Library are set to drop in March 2021.
Netflix and DreamWorks have worked together for many years, resulting in an excellent library of Netflix Original animated series. Aside from a small minority, many originals have sprung from the movies and have become spin-offs, prequels, or movie sequels.

- Above the Hedge (2006)

- Rise of the Guardians (2012)
- Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)
Why are DreamWorks movies leaving Netflix UK?
Put simply, the license Netflix UK has for its DreamWorks movie library is coming to an end.
The majority of the films listed have been available for streaming on Netflix UK since March 31, 2020. This means that Netflix UK has only purchased a one-year license to stream these films.
If you open your Netflix app and search for any of the movies listed above, you will find their availability dates listed now.
Where can I then stream Dreamworks movies in the UK?
Fortunately in the UK there are a limited number of streaming services available. This means that it’s pretty easy to predict where some of the DreamWorks movies will land next.
Once they leave Netflix, DreamWorks movies will be available to stream on Now TV or Amazon Prime. DreamWorks movies are highly unlikely to make it to Disney +.
