Set sail in Mirandus with the offer of boats and docks

After arranging the sale after sale of deeds and buildings on land at Mirandus, Gala Games finally shows some love for sailors and explorers who yearn to feel the rocking of a ship under their feet. Behold the Ship and Dock sale! Starting at 10 a. M. PST on December 13, 2021, players can deeds of purchase of boats and docks and prepare them for their life in the water.

Six different types of boats are on sale. Each one bigger and faster than the last. From the Picard to the Caravel, each ship has a crew cap, which determines how many friends can sail with you, and a hold to bring loot and rewards. As you can imagine, the bigger and more expensive ships have higher capacities.

Some exemplary classes seem to be ready for aquatic adventures. In particular, sailors and cartographers! They can be good friends when sailing on the high seas.

And of course, shipowners need a place to park their boats. And for that we have Docks. Docks come in various sizes, each capable of holding more and / or larger ships. Some of the larger boats will be too big for the smaller docks. The Modest Dock can only fit smaller ships such as the Picard, Crayer and Hoy types. Larger docks, piers, docks, and piers can accommodate the most important transports.

Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about how ship movement and adventures at sea will actually work. Hopefully it’s not like the old days of Ultima Online with ship traffic jams! It is also unclear whether the docks will be independent or will need to be attached to a village deed.

This is a pre-sale. The development team has promised an alpha playtest soon, but the start date and when you will be able to use your NFTs in the game is unknown.

What is Mirandus?

Mirandus is an upcoming fantasy MMO that Gala Games is currently developing. When Mirandus is released, it will give players a first-person perspective as they venture out into the world. Everything in the gaming world is owned by players, communities, or organizations, from gaming banks to shops, farms, and blacksmiths. There will be a thriving economy in the game and everyone has their part in the game. Mirandus is an open world online role-playing game in which the player’s actions influence the game world.

Adventurers will need food, armor repairs, and some potions before embarking on their next adventure. The blacksmith will need wood from the lumberjack to make a hilt, while the butcher will need meat from the farmer. There are many production lines and players can enjoy being farmers, adventurers, merchants, or perhaps bards.

Having a keep or some other base near the entrance of a dungeon will provide all kinds of opportunities for trade. Players can purchase land tokens with certain functionalities and place them anywhere in the game world. Other players could open a store in that town and pay the rent to the mayor. All ownership of digital assets within Mirandus is stored on the blockchain. Mirandus currently supports Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and Flare Network.

When Mirandus is released, there will be five citadels, the largest cities in the game world. These give the owner the right to create and lead his own faction, collect trade taxes, etc. Owning land provides a safe haven for other players and potentially a way to earn money. However, you can also win without land, as the shops will need wood, meat, and other items.
