The Theory of Everything is now available to stream on Netflix Australia

The start of the new month on Netflix Australia has been extremely busy with 110 new additions to the library. Here are what’s new on Netflix Australia this week and the top 10 for April 3, 2021

First up, here are the best moments from the past week:

The Theory of Everything (2014)

Director: James marsh
Kind: Biography, Drama, Romance | Run Time: 123 minutes
Discard: Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Tom Prior, Sophie Perry, Finlay Wright-Stephens

As one of the most fascinating figures in human history, taking on the role of physicist Stephen Hawking was a mammoth task for any actor. Thanks to Eddie Redmayne’s incredible acting skills, the dramatization of Hawking’s life was heartbreaking and easily one of the best films of 2014, with Redmayne earning a well-deserved Best Actor Oscar.

At the age of 21, Stephen Hawking, a student at the University of Cambridge, was diagnosed with motor neuron disease. Despite his illness and with his wife Jane by his side, Hawking still pursues his passion for science. His revolutionary ideas forever change the field of physics and thus strengthen his place as one of the greatest scientists to ever live.

Hot Fuzz (2007)

Director: Edgar wright
Kind: Action, Comedy, Mystery | Run Time: 121 minutes
Discard: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman and Rafe Spall

One of the greatest British comedies ever made, the mix of action, comedy and violence is sure to have you laughing everywhere.

Forcibly reassigned to the sleepy town of Sandhurst in the British countryside, Sgt Nicholas Angel, a trained police officer, uncovers a dark and violent secret.

The Green Mile (1999)

Director: Frank Darabont
Kind: Crime, Drama, Fantasy | Duration: 189 minutes
Interpretation: Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan, David Morse, Bonnie Hunt, James Cromwell

Of films adapted from bibliophile Stephen King, only Shawshank Redemption is greater than The green Line. Michael Clarke Duncan was phenomenal playing the role of the gentle giant John Coffey. Although he did not win any awards, his performance is still critically acclaimed.

When a prison warden discovers that an inmate in the death row has mysterious powers, he desperately tries to prevent the condemned man from being executed.
